Dr Brett Chittick
Veterinarian & Practice Owner (Bachelor Veterinary Science (QLD)-1992)
Brett was raised on a farm in the Tweed Valley, and graduated from The University of Queensland with a veterinary degree in 1992. After graduation Brett commenced work in mixed practice in Tasmania and after a number of years moved to Brisbane and eventually back to the family farm in the Tweed Valley working in Murwillumbah and on the Gold-Coast for several years. In 2011 Brett and his wife Andria purchased Goonoo Goonoo Road Vet Hospital where they have continued to care for their clients pets since. Brett has a general interest in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, with particular interest in dermatology, diagnostic medicine, and orthopaedic surgery.
In his spare time Brett spends time with his children Nicola and Jake competing at Target shooting events, and when time permits rides his horse Cisco and goes carriage driving with his two horses Blaze and Toby.
Andria Chittick
Practice Owner (Diploma in dog behaviour)
Andria has been running Goonoo Goonoo Road Vet Hospital with Brett for the last 11 years and is an avid animal lover with her 2 dogs Dexter and Jax . In her spare time Andria enjoys scrap-booking and folk-art along with gardening and looking after her chooks (too many to name).
Nicola Chittick
Veterinary Nurse
Nicola works part-time at Goonoo Goonoo Road Vet Hospital over the last few years in order to give her mum a few days off. Nicola intends to start a Veterinary Science degree in the near future. In her spare time Nicola enjoys horse riding, playing Oz-tag, and on occasion attends Clay target shooting competitions with her brother and father. At home Nicola has her very naughty Kelpie 'Remi'.
Jake Chittick
Kennel Hand
Whilst still in High School Jake helps out in the hospital when needed. In his spare time Jake enjoys motor-bike riding and competitive clay target shooting. At home Jake has his much-loved best mate 'Rip' the Kelpie.
